Thursday, Oct. 8
10:00am SHARP! - Arrive at Airport & Check-in
12:25pm - Depart (AA4329) Kansas City (MCI) to Chicago (ORD)
3:25pm (Group 1 - Ken, Alex, Myesha, McKenzie, Rebecca, Taylor, Grace) - Depart (AA8081) Chicago (ORD) for Berlin (TXL)
3:40pm (Group 2 - Amity, Jack, Miranda, Jasmine, Amanda) - Depart (AA242) Chicago (ORD) for Düsseldorf (DUS)
Friday, Oct. 9
7:00am (Group 1) - Land in Berlin (TXL), go through customs and passport control, gather baggage, and purchase transport cards
7:00am (Group 2) - Land in Düsseldorf, go through passport control and change to domestic terminal
8:20am (Group 2) - Depart (AA8038) Düsseldorf (DUS) for Berlin (TXL)
9:30am (Group 2) - Land in Berlin (TXL), gather baggage, and meet with group 1 by bus transport area (outside Terminal B)
11:00am - Travel to Die Fabrik (Schlesisches Straße 18)
- Take Bus X9, which runs from Tegel Airport towards Zoologischer Garten - get off at U Ernst-Reuter-Platz (Berlin); change to U-Bahn (underground subway) line U12 (towards Warschauer station), getting off at Schlesisches Tor station. Walk south on Schlesisches Straße to Die Fabrik (which is on the west side of the street)
12:00pm - Arrive at Die Fabrik and drop off luggage into luggage closet (check-in at 330pm). Take a deep breath and have some lunch!
1:00pm - Meet at Schlesisches Tor for a central Berlin tour
- Take S75/S7/S6 (Warschauer → Friedrichsstraße), then S25/S2/S1 (Friedrichsstraße → Brandenburger Tor)
1:30pm - Walk from Brandenburg Gate going east down Unter den Linden to Alexanderplatz
3:30pm - Return to Die Fabrik to check-in
- Take S5/S7/S75 (Alexanderplatz → Warschauer)
5:30pm - Walk to dinner around Oranienstraße (or take U12 → Görlitzer Bahnhof)
8:00pm - 6 options (4 venues walking distance and 2 venues by train) for live music of your choosing:

Saturday, Oct. 10
10:00am - Meet at Schlesisches Tor and travel to Berlin Musical Instrument Museum (Staatlichen Institut für Musikforschung) - Ben-Gurion-Straße
12:00pm - Wurlitzer Organ short concert at Museum
1:00pm - Return to Schlesisches Tor (Lunch around Die Fabrik)
2:30pm - Meet at Schlesisches Tor to Deutsche Oper
3:30pm - Deutsche Oper Führung (Tour of Deutsche Oper)
4:30-6pm - Dinner around Opera House
6:15pm - Meet outside Deutsche Oper - Opera starts at 7pm (must be seated by 6:45pm)
- Opera: Die Hochzeit des Figaro (Mozart)
Sunday, Oct. 11
10:30am - Travel to Oranienburger Straße area for neighbor walking tour and lunch
3:45pm - Meet at Schlesisches Tor U12 → Gleisdreieck; U2 Gleisdreieck → Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park
4:15-5:20pm - Light Dinner around Potsdamer Platz
5:30pm - Meet at Stage Theater am Potsdamer Platz, Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 1 - Musical starts at 6pm (must be seated by 5:45pm)

10:00pm - Return to Die Fabrik
Monday, Oct. 12
Eat breakfast prior to meeting
9:00am - Morning Meeting (Closure/Reflection to 3 performances, then transition outside Berlin -- Listening is a big part)
10:00am - Travel to Universität der Künste Berlin (Berlin University of the Arts)
11:00am - Informal talk on Techno Studies” and the history of electronic music in Berlin (Drs. Pasdzierny & Feser)
- “...we can meet at the lobby of UdK, Fasanenstr. 1b, at 11h and then go to one of our class rooms.”
12:30pm - Lunch around University
5:00pm - Dinner around Fredrichshain
Tuesday, Oct. 13
- Get Zone C tickets for S1 line & Bus

- Take U12 (Schlesisches → Kottbusser) then take U8 (Kottbusser → Weinmeisterstraße)
- Walk east on Weinmeisterstraße to Gormannstraße, take a right and Unsicht-bar is up on right - Gormannstr. 14
