Thursday, Oct. 8

10:00am SHARP! - Arrive at Airport & Check-in

12:25pm - Depart for Berlin

Friday, Oct. 9

11:00am - Leave Berlin airport and travel to Die Fabrik Hotel

12:00am - Drop off luggage and have lunch around hotel

1:00pm - Central Berlin tour

5:00pm - Walk to dinner from Die Fabrik to Oranienstraße

8:00pm - Evening concert of choice (6 options)

Saturday, Oct. 10

10:00am - Institute for Musical Research Tour and Organ Concert

12:30pm - Lunch

2:30pm - Meet at Schlesisches Tor and travel to Deutsche Oper

3:30pm - Deutsche Oper Führung (Tour of Deutsche Oper)

4:30-6:00pm - Dinner

6:15pm - Meet outside Deutsche Oper - Opera starts at 7pm (must be seated by 645pm)

• Opera: Die Hochzeit des Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro - Mozart)

10:00pm - Return to Die Fabrik

Sunday, Oct. 11

10:30am - Travel to Oranienburger Straße area for neighbor walking tour and lunch

3:45pm - Meet at Schlesisches Tor and go to Potsdamer Platz

4:15-5:20pm - Light Dinner around Potsdamer Platz

5:20pm - Meet at Stage Theater am Potsdamer Platz, Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 1 - Musical starts at 6pm (must be seated by 545pm)

10:00pm - Return to Die Fabrik

Monday, Oct. 12

9:00am - Morning Meeting

10:00am - Travel to Universität der Künste Berlin (Berlin University of the Arts) 

11:00am - Informal talk on “Techno Studies” and the history of electronic music in Berlin (Drs. Pasdzierny and Feser)

5:00pm - Dinner around Mehringdamm

Tuesday, Oct. 13

9:00am - Leave for Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp (Links to an external site.)

12:00pm - Lunch in Oranienburg

2:30-5:00pm - Concentration Camp tour

5:00-6:00pm - Self-guided tour through museum archives and exhibits

6:00pm - Depart for Die Fabrik

Wednesday, Oct. 14

9:00am - Morning Meeting

10:30am - Museum Island (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

4:45pm - Meet at Schlesisches Tor to depart for Deutsche Oper

5:15-6:45pm - Dinner

6:50pm - Meet outside Deutsche Oper - Opera starts at 730pm (must be seated by 715pm)

10:30pm - Return to Die Fabrik

Free day - use your museum pass for many free options
